Things are getting Wild on Instagram. As I scroll through endless photos on my Instagram feed these days, I can't help but notice common themes and recently it's all about the jungle, baby.
From @clarencehousetextiles the above image, a "tropical haven" featuring their "Lyford Key" Wallpaper, to the collection of images I present to you below the jungle is back for Summer 2016! Perhaps those in colder climates are dreaming of the warmer days of summer. But, if you look around at the new items being released on big box sites like CB2, Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie (click the sites for examples), the palm print and jungle motifs are definite trends in design right now.
In design school, we were told that all the trends of design start in Fashion and then Interior Design follows suit. If we look back at Dries Van Noten's and Gucci's Spring-Summer 2016 shows (below), it's a strong case that this is exactly what's happening right now.
