Shape Mirrors from Bower NYC
For the last two years or so, I've been obsessed with the idea of colored mirror - and extremely disappointed at the selection available. So it was with great excitement that I found a resource with Bower, a contemporary design studio based in New York City.
Bower was founded by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi in 2013 and named after a bird. The duo has found inspiration in the "Bowerbird's innate desire to create beautifully intriguing structures and arrangements from its surrounding habitat". They believe in the creative spirit of this animal and channel it through their own expression in the form of furniture, lighting and accessories. Calling the process their "happy place".
The Tribar Mirror (above) is from their collection of Shape Mirrors composed of multiple pieces of glass mirror of varying tints and shapes that together create an optical illusion of three dimensional shapes. Most of them are inlaid onto Walnut frames, upping the beauty factor. And all of them are customizable with a collection of glass mirrors in various colors. But, I love the Peach Mirror on the Tribar and that is plays so well of my New Neutral, blush.
Check out my other favorites from the Shape Mirrors collection below.
