Pink 1950's Wilmot Castle Autoclave Sterilizer

I just read the spread in Harper's Bazaar on Jeremiah Brent and Nate Berkus' Hollywood home. Two things stood out the most to me. One, that Brent cried upon walking in for the first time during house hunting (talk about loving a house). And two, the existing vintage pistachio green oven and stove in the kitchen that the couple chose to keep in tact.


I thought, is that even practical? Isn't it less efficient or more time consuming than a modern day oven and stove? But, the idea was to keep in tact the original vision of the original architect who designed the property. Which as an Interior Designer you find to be a lovely sentiment.

So, while searching 1st Dibs for pink and romantic items to feature during this month of Romance on my blog, I came across this and immediately thought of the Brent/Berkus estate.

This Pink 1950's Wilmot Castle Autoclave No 999 C Sterilizer on Stand is offered from Refined Furnishings. It turns on! And appears to be in working condition which would make it a great addition to a vintage inspired kitchen.
