Pink Inside: Angie Hranowksy
A Suite fit for sweets. This pink infused Romantic bedroom is by Angie Hranowsky.
Here is some background information on Hranowsky taken from her website:
Based in Charleston, where design styles tend to slant towards the traditional, Angie’s high-impact rooms manage to be both bold and effortless. She has garnered an impressive roster of both residential and commercial clients for her confident use of color, affinity for modern design and decidedly casual vibe. Named one of the “20 Designers To Watch” by Traditional Home, included in Southern Living’s “Top Five Tastemakers,” and featured in Domino, House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home, and Coastal Living, Angie has garnered praise from the industry’s most prestigious publications.
Angie's inherent skill for flawlessly mixing and juxtaposing color, texture and periods comes surprisingly easy for the former graphic designer. Her signature and far-from-subdued palette includes various shades of purples and mauves that create the most unexpected, yet appealing combinations. Well known for her lively spirit and ability to cultivate the individual style of her clients, Angie's projects always have their own striking personality.
Color makes a big impact here. Almost pink everything definitely raises the Romance level way up in this bedroom. The art itself also adds to the Romance; a moody nude sketch and what looks like two women embraced, sharing stories of gossip (perhaps about their love life?). A traditional chair lends curved, whimsical lines in a warm gold hue. And the mirrored bed frame adds a small touch of vanity.
