Pink Inside: Kelly Hoppen
Color is not a common element for the interiors of Kelly Hoppen. This surprising use of pink in this villa-esque private residence is heaven in the form of furniture.
Hoppen is known for an "ever-evolving style" which is "underpinned by a subtly coordinated fusion of East meets West; clean lines and neutral tones, blended with charming warmth and sumptuous opulence", according to her website.
With any Interior Designer, one might not expect this romantic shade of pink to be used in a home of this style. Which is what makes it exciting! I love the way that it coordinates with the puddle on the draperies and how it's used in the entry of the home, inviting you to come inside with it's warmth.
It's finished in a high gloss giving it a touch of glamour. It's also a beautiful example of how you can make a shocking statement in your home without commiting to say, an entirely pink room.
