Art: Chris Bracey

A neon kind of love. The kind that glows in the dark and attracts like a motel sign to a weary traveler. A perfect description for the amazing art by Chris Bracey.

Featured at one of my favorite gallery's in Los Angeles, Guy Hepner, here is some biographical information on Bracey from Hepner's website.

"Chris Bracey is a neon light artist for movies, theatres, visual merchandising and various different art projects. Chris Bracey works mainly in London but also in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Bal Harbour, and ships his work all over the world. Chris Bracey has been the Neon Man for 37 years creating iconic artpieces - Chris Bracey's neon's have appeared behind Tom Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut, Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Jack Nicholson in Batman."

So you may have seen his works already and not have even known. I love the excitement of this medium of neon and how it's combined with common themes like love, lust, and sex. It's got the excitement of Las Vegas and the passion of Romance.
